Portola Valley and Clouds on the Fuji GFX 50r

I was out Saturday looking for Fall colors and my wanderings took me to the back of the Portola Valley library, which has a great view of the hills. Nice clouds and backlit trees made for a nice composition that really jumped out as a black and white image.

I've also been on a bit of an adapted lenses kick recently due to listening to @davidburnettfoto and used my vintage Pentax 135 f 3.5 on my Fuji GFX 50r medium format camera. All manual so, there's always that chance you'll miss the focus! It really forces you to slow down and think about what you are photographing instead of just snapping away. This one might be a nice local addition to the print store.

Evidently Ansel Adams photographed this orchard in 1940! https://www.artsy.net/artwork/ansel-adams-orchard-portola-valley-california-1
