Portola Valley Redwoods

I went over to the coast last month on a photo exploration day and was coming up short on inspiration and images. I remembered this stand of Redwoods behind the Portola Valley town hall and so made a quick stop on my way back over the hill. Late afternoon light was illuminating the trees after bouncing off the adjacent field. Photographed on my Fuji GFX 50r with the incredibly sharp and versatile vintage Tokina 90 2.5. I also really like this B&W version as well in a horizontal. I think I’ll need to go back to this spot a few more times and see what the different light brings.
